THE CANADIAN WARPLANE MUSEUM

The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum is in New Hope, Ontario. It is the place where you can see largest collection of flying vintage aircrafts. It also contains aviation art gallery, an assortment of aircraft photographs, interactive displays, and audio-visual presentations. The museum has over forty aircraft from the 1940s Warplanes to the jets from 60s and 80.  Most of the flights present in the collection are military. Many of the planes are very rare which cannot be seen anywhere else. They fly one of the operational planes once a day during summer and Thursday to Sundays in autumn and spring according to the prevailing weather conditions. At first the museum was set in Hamilton international Airport, Then Charles, the Prince of Wales who is a member of Canada’s royal family and the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum’s royal patron officially opened the new building in 1996. The museum has ride program which allows people to fly in an open-cockpit bi-plane or the Harvard Trainer.
