THE STATUE OF LIBERTY
The statue of liberty is one of the most popular statues in the world which is in Liberty Islands, New York. It is one of the most precious remainders in United States which is also a great tourist attraction. As a part of security measures, tourists are not allowed access to the Lady Liberty’s crown and torch. There are two guided tours provided around the island. One is gentler informational tour that doesn’t require much exertion. It lasts for about 30 to 60 minutes. The second tour is strenuous tour which allows you a view from 10 storey high observatory. Though requires considerable amount of energy, it gives lifelong memory. You can only take ferry to reach Statue of Liberty. While returning to mainland, you can also visit disembark at Ellis Island. There are interesting array of artifacts and photographs in the Ellis Island Immigration Museum. Thus the trip to Statue of liberty gives you a chance to understand the most treasured American landmarks.
